Cass Bell (4-0-0), Humboldt County’s own professional MMA fighter, announced he will see the octagon again on Dec. 20.

For the first time in his professional career, Bell will be fighting in a venue other than the SAP Center.

Bell will fight in Honolulu, Hawaii, at a “Salute the Troops Show” put on by Bellator and the United Service Organizations (USO).

Bell’s opponent for what will be his fifth professional fight has not yet been announced.

Bell most recently beat Isaiah Rocha via submission in the first-round at Bellator 226 in San Jose.

The announcement came not long after Bell, a coach to more than a dozen youth wrestlers, returned from coaching his little ones at a tournament at Illinois Valley High in Oregon in early November.

Of the kids — both boys and girls — Bell brought with him, nine earned first-place trophies, two earned second-place awards and another four earned top-4 finishes.

Here’s who did what at the Tournament of Champions, the first of many wrestling tournaments Bell will be leading his band of fearless competitors to this wrestling season.

First-place winners

Kaidan Bell, Taylor Bell, Tanner Baxter, Dakota Bestul, Jessie Bestul, Chase Bickmore, Leland Lake, Cassius Barter and Teoh Arredondo.

Second-place finishers

Maureen Baxter and Talan Howes.

Third-place finishers

Bowdan Barter and Mateo Osorio

Fourth-place finishers
