AARON CHALMERS is willing to put his money where his mouth is to set up a fight against former WWE star Jake Hager.
The Geordie Shore legend, 32, has offered to put £100,000 on the line if the pair go to war inside the cage on December 29 as he eagerly awaits a response.
Hager shocked the wrestling world when he made the switch to rival promotion AEW earlier this month.
The undefeated MMA fighter, 37, is better known to wrestling fans as Jack Swagger after he spent 11 years working for Vince McMahon.
He took his record to 2-0 when he beat T.J. Jones in May and will return to the cage on October 25 at Bellator 231.
But Chalmers, who bounced back from his first career defeat to beat Fred Freeman in June, wants his shot at the American.
The 5-1 fighter wrote on Twitter: “100 per cent. If we are standing, none of this wrestling business.
“I would KO @RealJakeHager 100 per cent. I’m that fast and that heavy handed, he couldn’t take my shots.
“I will put 100K up on the Rizin/@BellatorMMA show on 29th December to prove it.”
Before he added: “His actual wrestling is years ahead of mine, but striking, I would end him.”
One fan questioned the weight difference between the two fighters, to which Chalmers replied: “No, if he wants it let’s do it at the @BellatorMMA/Rizin show.
“They had the same fight yesterday 40kg weight diff. Only thing is we both stand toe-to-toe and throw bombs.”
And he said: “Hmm he would outwrestle me nothing else Bruce.”
