Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what’s going on in pro wrestling – The Smark’s Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week’s voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week’s nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows – the May 27 episode of Monday Night Raw, SmackDown & 205 Live on Tues, May 28, NXT UK & NXT and Beyond’s Uncharted Territory from Wednesday, this week’s Impact, ROH TV & MLW Fusion, New Japan’s Best of the Super-Juniors shows, NXT TakeOver: XXV and any other televised or internet streaming wrestling that aired from May 26 – June 1, 2019.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

Bayley did it?

  • Exciting, if weird, week. How else would you describe starting with a WWE pay-per-view (PPV), ending with one from the new big money alternative?
  • And that had a top five of the Hugster quickly turning her Money in the Bank win into the SmackDown Women’s title, Dean Ambrose’s shocking debut at Double or Nothing under an old name, R-Truth getting a chance to shine with a new belt that’s divided fans, and Dusty’s boys finally get a chance to play their own music?
  • While the men’s Money in the Bank winner didn’t even place?
  • The Man abides, even down one belt. And her man placed by defending his Universal title in a predictably good showdown with AJ Styles.
  • The two men who earned the right to face off for the AEW Heavyweight strap at All Out followed him, then we got WWE’s Intercontinental champ (for sacrificing his body in a ladder match, mostly) and the new #1 contender for the WWE title (for taking a break from stand-up, I guess?).

If you could do it last week, you should be able to whittle your list down to four or so performers from the past seven days. Read up on what went down in or on All Elite, Raw, NXT, SmackDown, New Japan, MLW, and whatever other independents Rev. Claire’s Sermon on the Mat has you checking out these days.

Then click or type below, and we’ll do the rest.
