ACTION hero Jean-Claude Van Damme is to make a star appearance at this year’s Comic Con Scotland, we can reveal.
The Muscles from Brussels has stunned Scots fans by announcing his visit later this year.
The 58-year-old martial arts expert – best known for his action-packed fight flicks like Bloodsport and Kickboxer – will be meeting fans at the event in October.
Last year the film icon he returned returned to his role in Kickboxer: Retaliation, a sequel to the reboot.
The two-day celebration is being held at The Royal Highland Centre and promises to be packed full of celeb guests from across the world, Q&A sessions with stars and traders selling fantasy and sci-fi goodies.
Comic Con Scotland – from Andy Kleek and the Monopoly Events team – is in its second year.
The 2018 event, Scotland Comic Con – For The Love Of 80s, was a massive hit with fans bringing stars like Knight Rider’s David Hasselhoff, The Incredible Hulk star Lou Ferrigno and Ghostbuster legends Ernie Hudson, Ray Parker Junior and William Atherton.
This year, organisers promise it will be even bigger and better – with more names to be announced in the coming days.
We exclusively told earlier how Game of Thrones big-hitter Rory McCann aka The Hound will be in attendance.
Christopher Lloyd of Back to the Future fame and Christopher Lambert – from Highlander – will also be there.
