Tiger Shroff, who has set the bar really high with his jaw-dropping stunts, will choreograph his action sequences in Baaghi 3. Directed by Ahmed Khan, the third installment of the popular Baaghi franchise will be filled with high-octane action sequences, involving different weapons and fighting styles.
A source told Mumbai Mirror, “Tiger has always been an MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) expert. Now, he is learning new forms in it while also practising Kalaripayattu, Kung Fu, Krav Maga, Kick Boxing and Muay Thai. He wants Baaghi 3 to be filled with big and unique action sequences and is already developing new stunts with Ahmed.”
Tiger confirmed that he will be involved in choreographing the fight sequences and said, “Fortunately, my director is open to suggestions, so we do a lot of back and forth on that. For instance, if my kicks or my hand-work is good, my inputs are considered by the stunt team and the director. Then, my action directors show me their ideas and if they are well-executed after some practice, it’s the best of both worlds.”
Baaghi 3 will kick off in Mumbai next month, and Tiger is leaving no stone unturned in his preparation. He has been watching the films of English actor and martial artist Scott Adkins, Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan for reference.
After wrapping up the first leg of shooting in Mumbai, Tiger will shoot for Baaghi 3 in Morocco, Turkey, Siberia and Egypt.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Fox Star Studios, Baaghi 3 will see Shraddha Kapoor return to the franchise. The film, which also features Riteish Deshmukh in a key role, will hit the theatres on March 6, 2020.
