Two training sessions will be held in Mudgee for four Western Region Judo representatives as part of state squad commitments ahead of competing in next month’s National Championships. The first of two sessions was held last Saturday where Mudgee’s Bryce Hanson, Michael Harfield and Jim Sheedy provided training partners and coaching to the aspiring visitors. Alex Lindsay from Wellington has been the national champion beforehand, and at 18 years of age, he quite a seasoned competitor. However, Wellington’s Tony Lindsay will compete in the veterans (masters) events on June 7, 8, 9 in the Gold Coast.
